Be sure to get your ski boots professionally fit by one of our Masterfit University certified ski boot fitters. Winter rentals include skis, snowboards, and snowshoes. In the summer, we have mountain bikes and beach cruiser rentals as well as premium demo bikes to explore the region’s incredible bike trails. If you’re looking to spend time on the lake, we’ve got you covered with kayak, SUP, wakeboard, and wakesurf rentals.
We offer full-service repairs and tunes for bikes, skis, and snowboards. Our Truckee shop is conveniently located at the entrance of town in the Truckee Crossroads shopping center adjacent to Historic Downtown Truckee.

Best all around sporting goods and apparel store in Truckee! Manager (John) is a wealth of knowledge, nice and patient. He was able to fix my backcountry ski boots when no one else could saving me hundreds of dollars on a new pair. Rental shop kids are obviously very savvy skiers and know what they are doing. Great selection of summer and winter gear and clothing. My go to place for skis, boots and bindings but also love to shop their wakeboard/surf gear and super cute summer clothes.
Customer centric experience. John Darby spent almost 2 hours ensuring that I will be skiing like a pro and in comfort. Highly recommend and book an appointment before you head over.
I visit BlueZone often, as I'm new to Tahoe and have to get all the gear for resort and backcountry! Each trip I've made to this site, I've received incredible service. The manager, Darby, has been attentive and helpful, without ever being pushy. Staff are knowledgable and friendly. I rented resort boots and skis for the season and went in to see if I could get a smaller pair of boots. I was instead offered education in ways to make rental boots fit. Staff suggested I purchase a pair of inserts which worked like a charm (and I get to keep when I return the boots!) I always feel good leaving BlueZone, with reliable equipment and a good experience.
